Description

Nafin’s productive chain program is a factoring system designed for small and medium size businesses (PYMEs) to discount their accounts receivables from First-Tier Companies (“EPO’s”).

Platform developed by NAFIN to apply discounts for invoice payments.

NAFIN and the discounting bank carry out the discounting process electronically in said platform.

NAFIN, in addition to providing the platform, also funds the discounts carried out during the factoring process.

Characteristics
  • Discounts may be in pesos or in USD
  • Monex provides a supplier payment factoring line to the EPO for a significant amount so that the Company’s suppliers are able to discount their accounts receivables from such EPO.
  • As a result of a fully automated program, the system is simple and the supplier receives the funds in his/her account.
  • Interests are discounted to the supplier.
  • Payment terms received by the EPO are up to 180 days, depending on the agreement made with the supplier.
  • For the supplier, this program represents factoring without recourse, as upon accepting the invoices in the NAFIN platform, the possibility of a commercial dispute is no longer possible. That is, the ceding party eliminates his/her accounts receivables and turns them into cash.
  • Upon invoice maturity, the EPO pays Monex 100% of the invoice.
